Dubai 80’s at Al Khawaneej Neighbourhood

In partnership with Dubai Economy and Tourism (DET), Last Exit Al Khawaneej and Al Khawaneej Walk are returning to Dubai in the ‘80s. From 23 December to 8 January, experience once more the turn of the century when Last Exit Al Khawaneej swaps out its signature rustic-chic vibes with interactive pop cultural references and installations while Al Khawaneej Walk entertains the little ones with the old ways of play.

The destinations are transforming into an old-school Dubai neighbourhood through and through. The entrance sets the stage, evoking vintage Emirati architectural elements and an ambience made up of old music and traditional spices. A photo gallery of snaps by homegrown artists will feed your imagination. Peak through the window of an old building, complete with a clothesline, to see a glimpse of Dubai’s recent history told through pictures.
